My House of Awesome was built on a simple idea:

Have fun. Ask questions. Think for yourself.

We live in a world overflowing with information, technology, distractions, and competing versions of the truth. It's never been more important to stay curious, challenge assumptions, and use our own critical thinking.

We're not here to tell you what to believe.

We're here to encourage you to look a little closer, ask better questions, explore different perspectives, and never lose your sense of humor along the way.

Through original music, unconventional videos, sharp satire, and unexpected creative adventures, we're shining a little light into the corners that don't always get much attention.

Technology is part of that adventure, too. Artificial intelligence can be an incredible creative tool, but powerful technology deserves thoughtful questions about how it's used, who controls it, and where it's taking us.

And if we can make you laugh, dance, sing along, or scratch your head while we're doing all that?

Even better.

THE ROAD TO AWESOME

Before the AI. Before the algorithms. There was a stage, a microphone, and a whole lot of rock and roll.

Long before My House of Awesome, Neil Patrick spent years performing live, most notably as the frontman of Hawaii rock band Sunburn.

This wasn't an occasional weekend gig. Sunburn lived onstage, often performing five or six nights a week, balancing original concerts with cover shows and building a following through hundreds of performances.

That journey continued through Koi, a later project featuring the same guitarist and an original album, and later Reef Bound Sol, whose music remains part of Neil's recording legacy.

Today, Da REAL Neil brings that experience into a new creative world, combining decades of real musical performance with modern technology, independent thinking, and a healthy disregard for the ordinary.

The tools have changed. The creative spirit hasn't.

THE COMEBACK

A DIFFERENT KIND OF COMEBACK

The road wasn't always paved with applause.

After the Sunburn years came Koi and later Reef Bound Sol. There were more songs, more performances, and some difficult chapters along the way.

Behind the music, Neil faced profound personal losses and a long struggle with drugs and alcohol. Those years brought painful lessons, broken relationships, and a period of stepping away from the life he'd once known.

Today, he's proud to say he's sober.

And with sobriety has come something more than a fresh start: a different perspective, a renewed creative spirit, and a deeper sense of purpose.

“I see the world differently through a sober lens now. I'm not here to pretend I've always had the answers. I'm here because I've learned how important it is to keep asking questions.”

My House of Awesome isn't about rewriting the past. It's about taking everything learned along the way — the good, the bad, the ridiculous, and the beautiful — and creating something meaningful from it.

The music never left. The mission just got bigger.

My House of Awesome is a growing creative universe. Music comes first, but there's plenty more on the horizon: imaginative stories, offbeat humor, original merchandise, and eventually a little magic for the next generation, including Queen Amara and the Coral Crown.

Some rooms are open. Others are still under construction.

But every room shares the same spirit:
